Ham equates to a Pig.

It just made great news to make a point that she was eating a sandwich and died because she was fat. Making her look like a big fat Hog choking on a sandwich was better than just saying she died in her sleep.

This is soooo Spinal Tap.Of all people, Cass dying of a hamburger O.D.bythe way..why couldn't that be ? People choke on food every day.Maybe eventualy it sunk down her windpipe(she was 'propped up",remember?).Wonder how this 'rumour'came into the world in the first place.

What prejudice... that they actually reported that Cass... choked on a ham sandwich... while propped up in bed. And this misconception even exists today !! The post-mortem examination found she had died of a heart attack and no food was found in her windpipe. This rumor has persisted for years, the fact is that she lost 80 pounds in the 8 months before her death, by fasting 4 days a week. Her fatal heart attack was most likely related to this extreme weight loss measure.

Now why would they choose to craft the story this way? Hmmm.
