I like how insane everyone gets and how it causes murder and sex crazed superfreaked peckwoods. Chopped up his entire fam with an axe. Complete fabrication of that story. I first saw this movie at the Student Center of my college back in 1973 (on a Saturday night, of course). I couldn't see the friggin' screen half the time 'cause the smoke was so thick in there, but the dialogue was good so I enjoyed it anyway. Strange, although I ate dinner just before the movie, I was starving after the movie. I would've paid anything for some munchies. A true cinema classic!
