Hardy didnt at first recognise Ramanujans brilliance...owing to the quirky way R expressed it...and R had written to other mathematicians before he tried Hardy,..only to be rejected

@spamdude1 Yeah Good Will Hunting is a feel good movie with no semblance to reality. You can't compare Ramanujan to this dude in the movie.

@Fupper16 Thats why I hope they come out with a movie about him. There was talk years ago about an actually movie about this one of a kind individual not sure where it stands now.

Many people have no idea of this amazing man Ramanujan. Unfortunately, he had a hard life, dropping out of high school and college and being shunted from job to job. Long story short, finally a professor took him to Cambridge and they worked together and produced some of the most profound, intriguing theorems ever created. The moral? YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO COLLEGE TO BECOME GOOD AT SOMETHING.

Genius are not found in IITs, NSIT, DCE, IIMs etc. they are found in places that are not polluted by the excess of misinformation that's out there!
