Recordings taken from a 16-645C (GP7/38rebuild) non turbo prime mover, mixed with a RVB Hurricane airhorn.

LokSound V4.0 decoder fitted, with 23mm speaker in fuel tank.

  • Thanks for your comment. Interestingly, the Y and X horns were one and the same, before being fitted with Nathan P5's in the 1980s.

  • No doubt it's EMD. Exahust is not even close to an X class and that horn sounds like it belongs to a Y class, not an X!
