Now, for the record, I like Battle for Middle Earth. On Medium difficulty it is fun and on Hard it is sometimes quite challenging. However, the AI on Easy is just ridiculously stupid. No matter what faction you are playing as or against, you can send in your starting units, take out the AI's starting opponents using a stance or power that gives you a slight edge, for example draft, shield wall, battle cry, eye of Sauron. You can then pillage the base and the AI will not do a blasted thing to even hinder you. If it's Rohan or Gondor, it won't even close its gate. This strategy works every single blasted time. I have never played a game with a more stupid or easy to beat Easy AI. It really does feel like using cheats, only not as fun.
