Nice one :) I own a OO guage model railway too!

@RedGemAlchemist Bad news. Eric was recently sold to one of my friends. Oh how I miss him...

@JBofBrisbane My Eureka Garratt, numbered 7, has the rather charming name 'Eric', given to it by one of my friends. That runs perfectly on the Hornby track I use. And I agree, hollpoll does have great taste in locos.

Its more beautiful to see a good train than it is coaches, ps love the Garatt

Very very good...I was told about youtube last week and it has totally shown me a new world. Your Garratt looks mint! 5 stars.

this type of engine ran in the UK too

Spelendid! Eight CHEEEEEETOOOOOs (on a scale on 1-10, not to be confused with RR "scale"!)
I'm not in the habit of counting rivets, but the Eureka AD60 is actually HO gauge (3mm/1 foot, ratio 1:87), not OO gauge (4mm/1 foot, ratio 1:76.2). You have great taste in locos, though - my Eureka Garratt is numbered 6042.
Why do you think it would run better on Code 70 rail?

@JBofBrisbane The title was a bit misleading but it was meant to convey the fact that the layout is 00 gauge although the loco as you quite rightly say is HO. I have since sold the garratt I did have some problems with it derailing and put it down to the fine scale wheels and some poor trackwork on my part. I have no doubt it should perfectly well on Code 100 track. Anyway thanks for commenting and watching the clip anyway

Don't forget the LMS had Garratts too! What a fantastic model this is, plus string of non air braked stock - you can almost smell the grease and steam!
