This is the West ave Thunderbolt siren in La Crosse Wisconsin this siren has been out of service for over 2 years

I originally uploaded this video using the song "This is the end" by the Doors but Youtube blocked the audio track so rather than having a silent video I did an audio swap with Youtube

UPDATE ON THIS SIREN: Its still sitting, its screen broke, and its facing a different direction Due to being hit by a F2 Tornado, Destroying half of downtown. this siren will come down this year. a siren has been ordered, and it may test in august, if its up.

@dpcomm1 i saw the siren they will put in, its a high pitched 2001-130 not a SRNB. it is not moved to the 2nd week of august. it will be up by the end of the week. that 2001 is going to be a wierd look around there

I just bought this siren at an auction. My son and I will pick it up next week. I'm hoping to begin the restoration soon. All I know about it is that the chopper spins freely in the housing. We'll see how it goes.

I now own two thunderbolts. My other one is basically for parts. Between them, I should get a functioning T-bolt. My neightboors will be pleased.
