I had a 67 newport, it featured 8-ash trays 3 of which were in the dash the driver and passenger side had a slide out 8 inch wide ashtray and the middle front person had another right in front of them plus a center rear and one in each of the 4-doors and all had lighters too. I bet if everybody hit the lighters at the same time the car would die. Chryslers didn't have the best charging systems.

That Coronet was one hell of a car. I miss the days of muscle cars!

I remember back in the '60s, this commercial was part of the sponsorship of Chi. White Sox baseball on WGN-TV.
