  • Anyone know when the silent fall of poppies takes place within the Remembrance Day ceremony?

  • Before the hymms I think . You will notice that some the servicemen/women already have poppies on their uniform. I also have the poppy fall from 2007 on a separate clip.

  • It make wonder if I shouldn't move to Austrailia.

  • Please explain. Why Australia ?? Although there is nothing wrong with Australia, often thought about moving there myself.

  • wts the name of that song start at 2.05

  • Sunset.

  • one does understand why the Brits revere the Queen (and to that extend the monarchy) after seeing this: a bit of nostalgia for the good old days mixed in with national pride and a good couple church hymns and you can't help feeling a bit British yourself

  • As Americans, our Mother is Great Britain and I thank God for that. If anyone doubts what I am saying, what language am I typing in which happens to be my "Mother Tongue"?

  • Americans will never understand why Britain revers the Queen because you place your pride in something else, Britain and Canada, Australia understand what it means on a national level. Long live the Queen and the Commonwealth!

  • Anyone know what is the song that played after 'Eternal Father'??

  • @Roseburg93 I think they mean the tradition and call of Britain.

  • Long live the Queen

  • @TheMightyBlighty I couldn't agree more, well said.

  • @0FindGlory In the name of environmental durabillity, one would hope they are recycled.

  • The barking of orders breaks the spell for a moment. For those present are clearly experiencing something very deep and meaningful. The worship is disturbed - but only so worship can be expressed. It's at moments like these, particularly as a cadet or scout, that you slowly begin to realise just how much The Queen means. How much you really do love Her. You realise what adults see in Her. Why they do all these things for Her. Why they're prepared to sacrifice themselves. Even their own children.

  • Difficult to explain why Brits revere The Queen. You just feel you must do so because there is something about The Queen. There is something there. You first become aware of it as a child when you realise adults are experiencing something very deep and meaningful in response to The Monarchy. They receive something from it. Why else would they want their own children to be subjects? As you pay homage as a child you begin to experience great joy and happiness. You begin to understand. The impulse.

  • This is beautiful!! Very soul stirring!!

  • RULE BRITANNIA!
