Oh dear. I really liked The Wicker Man so I had high hopes for this, but it looks like hammy, overracted shite, like an episode of Midsommer Murders.

@stylem2006 Aliens? Earthquakes? Parallel Universes? A Cynical Use of the Deus Ex Machina? She wakes up to find it was just a video game? What exactly are you looking for when you talk of originality now days?
The idea of the protagonist dying at the end of the movie was already cliched & rotting in the grave when the first movie was made. They just pulled it off well, but that's not what made it a great movie. If they stick with the spirit of the first film, this movie will be awesome!

It wont work it cant work we know they will die in the end. It makes the film pointless and i think robin hardy should use his talents for another type of film. When thewicker man came out nobody expected the lead to die but he did, We know whats going to happen on this one! such a disappointment robin mate it really is. Be original again!
