Hi, I'm from ukproofreading,org and those letters still sounded pretty bad. For example, she used because twice in the same sentence, it may make sense, but its still not the impression you want to be giving across when applying for something.

Very good--but it should be "may I call you," not "can I" to be proper formal English.

Better sentence? It's horrible. She uses "because" twice and there's no commas in it.
