I find it ironic that his music truly is very good,he never got the fame he deserves or the royalties,nor radio play in his own country,yet he never made a big scene like untalented egotistical musicians do today.But he has that genuinely humble thing going on.Is he just like that or is there a deeper story of sadness that made him such a man?

America now that you know of the wrong and injustice that you had done not to acknowledge Rodriquez in your own county!!! What are you going to do to compensate for your wrongdoing ????????????. I know what you can do, help Rodriquez to get what he deserves he sold millions of records in South Africa help him to financially get what he deserves somebody made millions out of his music.

Rodriguez playing in Australia this week, tomorow night in Sydney. The movie is crap Rodriguez also in Australia about 40 years ago, my father bought his cold fact album. I have listened to this music all my life. Anyone who has listened to it would know it being covered by other artists over the years.

If you're going to talk about truth, stop looking at Wikipedia which is a peer-submitted information source so is open to myth, truth, lies, conjecture and therefore subject to scepticism and possibly containing false information. Enjoy the doco for what it is. As edi4yt said, it's from the view of the South African fan who may have not even know about the popularity in Australia. Ok if you watched the documentary, they clearly say because of the Apartheid regime's media censorship, they didn't know of his fame in Australia.

So the story is told from the view of the South African fan who thought of this guy as a mystery.
