well we pakistani have a problem. we do not treat the patient, but we think killing the patient is the only solution.thats the formula our politicans used for the issue of basant. every1 knows if u drive a motor bike without helmet there are chances of death but do we wear? even the kite flying association suggested to put arials on the motor bikes to prevent casualities. but no one listen and we keep on criticising the event...we just see the bad aspect of it...no one talks about the benifits

@huzdahunk You are quite right, it is as if a group would want to eliminate roads because people die when they cross, Basant is a wonderful event and by stopping this popular event, the regime in place showes their downfalls and their lak of keeping the people just that much more happy

i cant comment about bassant regarding islam coz i dont hav enough knowledge bout iy but 1 thing is 4 sure ,tht basant is not only a watse of money it also cause many unspeakable deaths,its a case of logic guyz regardless of relogion basant have more side effects then its pleasures,

@shezihunzala Let me tell you, in lahore other than a couple of Criket games life is down and in the mud, let`s hope they can make basant into a family reunion rather than a method of killing the innocent.

I m amazed that ppl of Lahore don't have much to celebrate, as a muslim we hav two Eids but unfortunately we are going some other way. And if celebration is for happiness then we can have so many occasions where we can get together and enjoy.I m not in favor of Basant bcoz

1-create problems like injuries

2-wastage of money

3-some history linked with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Allah knows the truth 4-After Basant so many pics of our nations sisters/mothers flout over internet

yeah according to him its love bird ! and his opinion will be remain same unless some of his CHILD may dead by the thread of kite.. Thanks to ALLAH that this Lanat is no more being celebrated in Pakistan Now:)
