again; i bought a new kimber pro crimson carry ll. i finally decided to use the lazer after 6 months? it was off by a mile. i went to use the allen tools that came with it but the top screw was allready stripped......WTH''

@Garuda1337 On a self defense hand gun, are your threats close? or long distance? Also when threatened are
you trying to hit a small round target dot, or a 20" by 20" chest?
Is time on your side? or is instinct and acquisition needed quickly? Laser Sights are a up close quick instinctive life saving device ten feet will be probably long distance?
If you are a long distance target shooter simply use your iron sights. If you like to protect yourself when Car jacked? try Laser grips.

Here's the downside to it though. At close range, the point of impact won't be too significantly off. But at longer distances, that laser dot is going to way overstate the point of impact, since it it actually pointed at a slightly upward elevation.
