Ok, I'm not Christian but this is disrespectful as heck. Why not force the church that sent them to pay for the cost of shipping them BACK. They didn't have to burn them. Jeez, what the Hell is with people and burning each others' holy books?

@survivalistds It is not the Military's hate on christians. It is a Bible Study Group breaking rules, breaking laws and acting in a manner unbecoming of their positions. They knowingly committed a crime under the UCMJ and it was decided that to prevent them from further breaking the laws they were to be upholding action had to be taken.

If the US military has to burn or get rid of Dari and Pashto language Bibles just to protect our soldiers it makes me wonder what in the hell are we still doing there. We got rid of the Taliban - great but a Afghan man who converted to Christianity had to flee to Italy to keep from getting killed by family and friends? What kind of FREEDOM is that? If the Afghanis get outraged over Bibles in their language then fuck `em. They could use some new literature!
