Do my eyes deceive me? I know there is suspension of disbelief but in that scene as Vint is getting off his horse, he takes a 12inch Buntline gun barrel from his saddle bag, removes the barrel from his Colt sixgun and screws this barrel in!! I wish it were that easy, I'd like to do that in the field! You need a vice and wooden handle to turn the frame as the vice holds the barrel. Barrels are threaded to stay in place, not finger tightened!! And the front sight HAS to line up with the rear notch

Unlike "today's" tv shows......programs like these had good writing and good acting. Thanks for bringing back some memories.
If you can, could you locate any of the old "Tales of the Texas Rangers"?
