president bush saw the closure of multiple innercity schools, some of which had progressive education efforts being made to stop the horrible effect of standardized testing on a students education. the media is controlled by bigshots like rupert murdoc who take advantage of all of us and twist our beliefs to make us bicker so they can sell us stuff. why play into it? do your own research, all the information is out there, why settle for any one point of view. they are all important.

do you know what you're saying?? some of what you say may be true but the deeper implications of it are far greater than you've considered! have you even considered the children who don't have proper homes to be home schooled in! It is not all about YOUR children! there are tens of millions of children in this country, many are born into families that can't take proper care of them because they're disadvantaged by the state. we're all in this together, pointing fingers won't solve the problem!

These kids should be thanking Republican Majority Leader John Boehner. He, not Obama...and certainly not the Democrats (who wanted to abolish this program)....is responsible for yesterday's continued funding of this program.

Like many liberals, Obama brags about how great public schools are, but send THEIR kids to private school. It also shows that liberals are actually against choice when it comes to children.
