I kept asking myself, didn't they know what was going to happen? Apparently the protesters didn't. Only the minority of vandals among them, and the police knew. That's just wrong.

The question is asked, will there be any accountability for the police acting outside the law.
Answer, as long as banks and corporations own the politicians that should be working for the people and by the people, there will be no personal bank and corporate armies held accountable for their illegal actions

How do you become an Ombudsmen?
It is my impression an Ombudsmen is tainted by the same dirty filthy paint brush as the corrupt council they over look.
English laws seem corrupt.
I have never seen anything like it.In English ruled countries is you need to file a complaint about your local corrupt council, you can't even go to the police for protection
Councils in English ruled countries possess unbelieveable powers. They actually completely own entire cities

@kennegun - Vandalism to the tune of "a few million dollars" is way over the limit for societal tolerance. Sorry buddy - lock 'em up.

REMEMBER THE CRACKDOWN ON DISSENT IN CANADA AT APEC IN 1997?

Paul Jay.....EXCELLENT!
Its a shame that people focus on the vandalism of a few dozen individuals amounting to a few million dollars (which was focused at corporate buildings not public or "mom and pop shops - I saw this first hand) . , while at the same time the people responsible for the Gulf oil spill which cost billions and devastated an entire ocean ecosystem go unpunished and ignored. Democracy CANNOT function without an educated public. Our society is not very educated.

What I heard was "Spilled milk, sorry! We will not let it happen again." That is unacceptable, somebody(s) needs to loose their job and/or go to jail. This type of behavior cannot go unpunished!!!!!!!
