VoIP on the Nokia N900

We take a look at some of the VoIP calling features built-in to the Nokia N900. We used a WiFi connection in this video but it also works over 3G and 3.5G (sadly it's a poor experience on anything less than 3G).

Does this work over 3G

I think I prefer SIP to skype as SIP is an openly documented industry standard voip protocol vs Skype which is a proprietary (closed) protocol. I would not want to pay £35 a year to "rent" a number through skype when SIP numbers can be rented much more cheaply.

it will be much cheaper if you just buy the skypeout and skypeln for just 35ish a year around wifi.
