One of the ladies who couldn't make it to the workshop really wanted to learn how to do leopard. So her fellow guild member filmed me making leopard spot on a gradated background. What I'm talking about in the beginning is why I came cross country in the first place: after 36 years to reconnect with the father of my third born son, paving the way for the two of them to meet face to face. The last time that happened our son was a week old.

  • Boy you made it look so "easy breezy!"

  • @jojobean2020 That's because it is. What wasn't filmed was making the two colored "spots". The spots are made with 3 snakes: dark brown and two black. Braid the snakes, and then when reducing them before embedding them pinch the combined colors in an irregular way. Spots that look all identical are kind of boring. When you need to embed any spots on a gradated background this is the trick, if you want to have the spots in the center do a jelly roll with the blended ribbon, not fan fold.
