It would be so much more efficient to run a saltwater desal plant and flood the desert lay in some mulch, grow corn and make fuel, the plants use co2 and release O2, we all win, jobs, money, cleaner fuel! OK, so we tax these guys into reducing carbon emissions so who is going to pay for this? We are. higher prices for goods and higher sales taxes because the price of those goods went up. There is a better way.
