This jukebox plays 78 rpm records and it will wake up the neighbors when cranked up. The restoration is almost done. Need to add mirrors on the front and a few other odds and ends. Lawrence Welk and Frank Sinatra music could be heard on such jukeboxes, but as the rock and roll era began, big band music was replaced with early rock & roll. The tune is Don Reno, Red Smiley and the Tennessee Cutups playing "Let's Live for Tonight." Song used for educational purposes only to demonstrate the period music of this jukebox. The convergence of bluegrass and southern blues was the beginning of rock and roll.
