hey here is something u should try is using those hollow points because there deep cavity and putting black powder in it to the 3/4 mark then the last bit put impact powder u can get from cap guns or buy in a big container then seal it up wit a peace of tin foil and super glue then make a video of shooting it at a log or something i have done it before but not with a .50 cal i would keep your distance though

hi roy, i am just getting interested, can you recommend a starter rifle, that you can fill with a field "tire" pump and pressure canister, would rather have flexibility in the field. thanks! throwing 50 cal might be too much for my first though. lol. your thoughts are appreciated as you obviously know a great deal from hands-on exp.

I didn't give them a chance before I whacked'em off...

The thing is, Im a Long range junkie! I'm always pushing everything out past practical limits..
Can this rifle hit spot on & kill game out to 150 yards,, YES!
But is it realistic, NO!! What this rifle is absolutely perfect for is a brush gun 4 medium sized game within 50 yards... It's greatest attribute, imo, is it's lightweight, quick shouldering, well ballanced characteristics. Mounting a bulky scope up top ruins that!.. I'd consider a "QUALITY" Red Dot Scope though

How do you strengthen the spring on this gun?

@XtreMePyroX
You don't with this one... Or at least, not the way I tried to..
I attempted to temper it as I have before but it just trashed it!!
I just replaced it with double inner & outer springs 4 better energy retention with less memmory & cocking effort...
Finding the right spring dimensions & characteristics for the performance value is a PAIN though...
The stock spring is perfect though.. I wouldn't touch it, as I wish I hadn't...
