  • @smileyowner het is waar...

  • @FlyingSnake110 I believe it's a variation on the musical accompanyment "Petit Riens", which is an Italian dance from the 15th century. There's several videos (including the Hurdy Gurdy double header video) in youtube of other people playing or dancing it.

  • For me, too, it has been Tjerk who introduced me to the hurdy gurdy. I may have only seen him once as a kid, but I'll never forget him playing 'Pipi Langkous' for my little brother. I still am waiting for a chance to get a hurdy gurdy myself, thanks to Tjerk.

    R.I.P. Tjerk...

  • That is very very sad information :( This guy was special for me because when I heard the hurdy gurdy for the first time in my life it was actually Tjerk's playing... Nothing is forgotten... R.I.P. Tjerk

  • Anybody knows title of the song?

  • @mrpala Yes, he's called Tjerk Schipper. If you want to contact him, let me know. I can't just put his e-mail on internet due to privacy.
