It doesn't get any better than this exceptionally fine and incredibly rare Telecaster Custom with a maple-cap neck! Weighing just 7.20 lbs this solid alder body double-bound beauty is one of the nicest examples with a one-piece maple neck and a maple-cap fretboard that we have seen. The neck is stamped "3 JAN 68B". Two hot Telecaster pickups with outputs of 6.91k and 7.06k and a combined bridge/tailpiece with the original chrome cover. Original Fender black hardshell case. The Candy Apple Red finish is totally unfaded the first example of a Telecaster Custom in this color that we have ever seen
