Everone who isn't a Yankee fan loves to see them lose. It's practically a fact of life.

  • DID ARIZONA BELONGED TO MEXICO?....ARIZONA SOUNDS SPANISH TO ME....

  • @quick85abc >>>Gonzalez would try to go for a better hit<<< 'TRY' being the operative word....I don't think he was TRYING to hit the ball to the 'deep infield'. Mo doesn't get rattled. It was what it was. Just a bad sequence of events for the Yankees. 'Considering how many times Mariano has gotten and has continued to get out of those situations with no problems...I'd say congrats to the D-Backs ...and for them to thank God that little nothing 'hit' dinked in...Btw: Rattled=Byung-Hyun Kim

  • Yankees win exactly 8 years later

  • @GameProtocol Arizona DID belong to Mexico, but we got it as a territory in a large land purchase from them. Arizona became a state on Feb. 14, 1912.

  • @beatledude NO...you are wrong...Dead wrong...in the 8th inning..Finley got a clean hit of Rivera. in the bottom of the 9th...Grace got a solid hit to start....Rivera got rattle...the bunt...He should have go to first for the sure out and deal with the up comming hitters...but Rivera was afraid to take that chance and he was in trouble after the error throw...Womack hit a 2-2 pitch for a Double...If the infield was not in....Gonzalez would try to go for a better hit....The Diamondback adjust.

  • Gonzo wins it for the D-Backs!!!

  • The sad part here is ...if Jeter is playing normal position..this is a pop out to short...the ball landed 2 feet off the infield...I got a kick out of the D-Backs gloating about how they got a 'hit' of f the great Rivera...uh, yeah...right. We've already had another Flag since then..how 'bout the D-Backs?

  • @xaqshuna2003 2011 cards and rangers....baseball is not as great as it use to be....players are fat..they can't run...A team from the recent past will beat these two easily with pitchining....they wear their pants too long..covering the shoes...(Looks horrible and ugly)..i know there is two strikes twice...two innings...ITS NOT ABOUT TWO STRIKES....ITS STILL BANG BANG...A HIT TIES IT....THATS ALL..it's not a real miracle...game 6 at the end only, game 7 sucks...Texas sucks...they gave up...

  • @xaqshuna2003 I Agree with you on Most...BUT disagree with some.

1986 AND 2001 IS THE TOP TWO...BECAUSE OF THE HISTORY, THE FEEL OF THE GAMES, AND EVERYTHING THAT IS ON THE LINE....THE DRAMA....THE STATUS OF THE TEAM AND THE PLAYERS......1997...its a great game 7..okay....

1991....I remember there were great games...but its just a pitching dual...the drama in game 7 is not as great...as 2001...like i say...its just pitching dual....there is no shocking moments....

  • @xhemexx Got a good point. I go with the feel of the series. This team could beat and match up with any team. They are hungry for a title and they play like it. the New energy and the New fans that provides it. Like i say....good argument.
