The release made it fail so bad... The performance sucked and was littered with bugs, and not a solid dev team after released... So shit didn't get done... But I still love Vanguard, cause it still bitch slaps any other MMORPG out atm.

i never tried this game...but i heard it was going to kill wow and stuff like this... but now i see people saying it's dead... what happened made the game fail so bad ?

I know these figures because I played vanguard for its first year off and on. Alot of it IE, The devteam size, is common knowledge. The Population numbers are also fairly common knowledge. I have alot of experiance with this game, and I can tell you now, that it will not be going anywhere. It is alive, but just barely.

If the company now is making money off the game, then it's not a failure. I don't know myself so I can't really say. In fact, I had no idea the game was released until a couple months ago. Bunch of friends kept talking about how great the game is and all that. You post percentages and team sizes, how do you know this? Sounds like a guess to me.
This vid looked interesting. I'm gonna give the game a shot when they release their trial. It looks good and my buds say it reminds them a lot of eq.

Yes, the game failed... Its awful release was enough to scare away its first month of subscribers... But many who play today, or have tried the game recently admit it has become one of the best MMORPG's out there... All it is lacking is its population, due to the repercussions of the release... Amazing MMO, in my opinion one of the Top 3 out at the moment... But no reputation since its pre-mature launch

when a game loses 85% of its player base in 5 months, merges from 12 servers to 4 servers, and has problems keeping even those populated, then its a failure. When the Dev team is whittled down to only 10 members including the single community representative, its a failure. Vanguard is not growing, and not getting more notice on the web, unless you mean the Award it recieved from Gamespy recently "Biggest dissapointment in 2007". Yes, the game is so successful. Thats why Sigil tanked in 4 months?

4 servers does not mean failure. Now if it was 1 server then followed by shutting down (Auto Assault for example) then yeah, it's a failure.
Your comment sounds like the game did something bad to you.

what you dont see in the video is the fact that vanguard is dead. With 4 servers worldwide, and all are ghost towns. The game has been one of the biggest MMO failures in gaming history. if you want an MMO that is going No where fast, then go to vanguard.

well I most have been misinformed ingame. still its not enough content to kepp me anymore lvl 50 gets boring. and still alot of lag with agame that almost dead. I can be on 1 hr and see maye 10 people not good. thats in the heavy areas
