This Video is my own understanding and yours can be Different, so take it easy!!! and I said before nothing to debate about it.

Scientific Belief:
The soul is, called Athman = Shakti= enrgy.

As energy can neither be created nor destroyed so too the Athman (soul) cannot be created or destroyed, but can be transferred from matter to matter.( this transfer of energy from one matter to another is what we call rebirth).

This is the Vigyana. Sri-Krishna in B.G.says Vedas can be understood only when one is equipped with Gyana and Vigyana "Gyana- Vigyana, sahitham".

Spiritual Belief:
Spiritual people believes the soul is immortal and takes birth time and time again. Through this process, we have experiences, learn lessons and evolve spiritually. Finally we graduate from physical birth.

  • The Gayatry Mantra sang by Deva Premal is da best!

  • @brasilxeua : yes it is. that is why i always use it!!

  • that was beautifully succinct, thanks for taking the time. yes, my understanding is that, according to vedic philosophy, there is only One Soul, with an infinite number of manifestations, hence the "re" in "reincarnation" can be misleading.

  • @gothatfunk : Yes, most people understand "reincarnation" in spiritual way, and most time its misleading. Most people think science has no place in religion but from my point of view science and religion can not be separated. without science it becomes blind faith.

  • The best part with Hinduism is that the Gods also reincarnates. Kalki better save the world soon.

  • @brauchmud : Ya sure! but we should not wait for it.

  • I do not like the idea of reincarnation, we sould not be sent againest our well if we do not want to, and if we are then we should not worship this gods, second I do not like that idea of people who are born with bipolar or other major diseases are at fault cause of there pass karma and we sould not pity, which is crule thing to do.

  • @TheMaxutuber --cool that you're promoting other's views... Yah... it's much as it was taught in the classes I attended... guess ya have similar view, here. They mentioned how science is starting to validate what the scriptures had said all along and how they work with eachother. The class I was was called, The Science of Self Realization, but then I continued on some fallowing that course. That was over a year ago, though, so now it's not fresh in my memory~

    -Shanti & Hare-Krsna :o)

  • @lexxintegra : Is that covered in temple classes? Many people have different understanding so its better to believe what u understand, its natural approach. Though this video is my own understanding and yours can be different. so keep it that way!! Hare Krishna

  • Aah... yah... this reminded me of what was covered in classes at the Temple, months ago... it'll be good for me to visit the Temple on a more regular schedule~

    -Hare-Krishna~
