as a 34 yr old construction worker and a single man i can relate. has classic lines thru the whole movie. and im a bud man too.. when my luck turns it turns..... i love it

Here is what is crazy. I went to visit my brother in "Elmira" NY, and on our drive to "Watkins Glen" we drove through a small town just like this one called "Bath NewYork"! So clearly it is a real town. Why they did not film it in that town is beyond me. I'm from Cape Canaveral Fl, but i really loved upstate New York. It was like visiting "Mayberry". Ppl who live in that area, and are raised in that area are very lucky indeed. My brother says he will NEVER return to Florida.

You certainly did, Mr. Newman. He was a true legendary actor and he will NOT be forgotten ever and that also includes Jessica Tandy who was too an outstanding actress especially in Driving Miss Daisy. R.I.P. Paul and Jessica. :'(

Yep, it's a good film, full of slow, visual poems, elegiac feelings, wind machines, low light-levels (He loves long shots at dawn or dusk.) I am attending it on filmsi.co.cc. This is going to be amazing.

A great movie, vintage Newman. The rest of the cast also gives outstanding performances as well from the more noted supporting actors such as Willis, Griffith and Tandy down to the smaller parts such as the druggist, the barmaid, the chief of police, etc. This is one role Newman should have one best Actor for, if not others earlier in his career prior to 'The Color of Money'.
