Week-old Roses, our first Green Anole hatchling, comes out for a hand-feeding. I'm trying to handle her regularly so she will get used to me and not be as skittish as the adults we have.

  • where do u get the flys

  • @aflpds9 they are available at most pet stores, and are usually kept near where they keep the other feeder insects. You can also order them online. Fluker farms has a great selection of small insects for very small critters to eat.

  • can an anole maybe a 1.5 inches bigger then that eat meal worms that r broken up

  • @jlace409 Anoles won't usually eat dead food. They require live insect prey.

  • nice anole hatchling my anoles started breeding a week ago so will see if the female lays eggs or not is it hard to take care of the hatchlings

  • It's not hard - they just require smaller food than the adults. It's best if you keep them separated, as well, as sometimes the adults mistake them for food!
