Nobody in Washington D.C. seems to listening to any of the American people on any subject!

Its no wonder the GOP sides with the Healthcare companies since the whole party has been bought by the giant Healthcare corporations. They don't have the people's best interest in mind because if the Healthcare companies lose money so will they! They use old people in these commercials to make people feel as though we are taking something good from our grandparents when in fact they're the ones robbing them blind with outrageous healthcare costs!

when you say "not socialized" what does that mean exactly?
what is being done, exactly, that is socializing?
-
@jasonsadventure i agree that insurance needs to be regulated but not socialized. the majority of americans do not want this and congress should not push foreward when their contituents are telling them no. I think pro or anti obama should agree with that. You need to serve the people not yourself. There is merit to national healthcare but not in a recession and it needs to be done slow and though ful than rammed through chicago style.

really utubecenseorstruth?
does america want...
insurance companies to deny you health care?
pay for millions using emergency rooms instead of doctors?
to loose insurance if you change jobs?
health care canceled when you get seriously sick?
health care cost to bankrupt small businesses?
companies denying you treatment you & your doctor say you need?
insurance companies are killing more americans than al-quaeda and you want to help them
who is really smoking crack?

@jasonsadventure amen to that. we all know that republicans are typically less partisan these days and for none to vote for it like those 2 in main that says alot. If i were preisent i would call some heads of companies in say cut the bullshit or i am going for the natioanl plan. Get it so some pre existing conditions are covered especially for kids, then work on a fair cap on how high the costs can do. there is alot of debate about state lines but i am sure there is some good in that

you know what amazes me? it seems like whenever we get past the hate, the name calling, their anger, their "us versus them" mentality, there is a vast amount we could agree on.
for example, that healthcare reform is needed but doing it "all at once" is scary.
-
"...no but it is not a crime to make money. For profit usually has better care than non profit..."
Huh!? How do you figure that? On average, Canadians live longer than Americans; on average, Canadians are healthier than Americans; all Canadians are covered, 40 million Americans or so are denied coverage. Even Canadians who rush south of the border for treatment to supposedly life-threatening tumours which turn out to be benign cysts, are covered under Canadian health care.

@jasonsadventure great point. My main thing is that you should not thumb your nose at people who send you to office. Bush did and obama is doing it, but seems to be doing it more with tax and spend.
I personally think we need healthcare reform but you cant do it all at once. They should have started with regulations and caps on premuims than in like 5 years we could look at something like a public option. It would go through without all the division

i don't think there is a problem with disagreeing. i learn more from those with whom i disagree than those that like everything i say.
as with all policies, some won't like it and no democracy can endure if each person could dictate how their taxes should be spent -
this goes for pacifist who have to pay for war, to kids (like me) who have to pay for social security, to people who live in cities having to pay for farm subsides
what gets me, is why some hypocritically only argue their side
ask any Brit if they like their health care system
