This was filmed at the Sundial Bridge in Turtle Bay Park, on the Sacramento River in Redding California. Say that three times fast! My wife and I stopped there on a return trip from San Fransisco. It was the perfect opportunity to try out the new camera stabilizer that I recently finished building. I had been working on it for nearly a year. I think it went well for a first try. I obviously have a lot of practicing to do to be a better photographer, but it greatly improved what skills I already had.

  • @amb8s Yes, I just finished the gimbal bearing part of it a couple of weeks ago. That was the hardest part because everything had to be machined exactly to size and exactly square. If it is off be even a tiny bit, it won't operate freely and smooth. I think I got it real close.

  • stabilizer looks like it works really good. Was that the new one you made before you made mine??
