The beauty of this centre is the ability to embrace the higher emotions such as love, compassion, optimism and positive thinking that comes from the feeling of optimism, hope, trust, faith, kindness, empathy. Some say, "But I cannot come out of this emotion; it is too strong. This anger is so strong, I cannot help it. This fear is so strong, I can't do anything." While the worst is that you give up in helplessness. You are a victim.
Managing emotions; exploring the possibilities
Being a victim is a miserable state of existence. If you find it difficult to come out of the limiting lower emotions: * It is important to associate with those who are strong in the positive emotions that you want to develop or to embrace. That's extremely important, the associating with those who are strong. * Then use the intellect to reason out why you shouldn't be in that state. Look for every possible reason why you should not be there. Also look at where you want to go. * Create the vision of where you want to go: "I want to be a positive person. I want to be a happy person. I want to be a fearless person. I want to be a strong person." * Create a powerful image of what you want to be and associate with those who have it. * Make a plan for yourself as to how to achieve it. * Then there is the discipline of staying with your plan. Staying in the association. Holding the vision before you. That discipline is required. * Then there must be patience. Even if it does not come right away, be patient. Allow the process to work.
These steps are extremely important in learning how to manage emotions.
