  • you are consuming more than the solar panel can handle that s why the voltage drop

  • We did much better on are 3rd video wired in parallel and panels angled correctly.

  • I could power my sterling engine with that cell.If we mix the Gasifer gas with the HHO the 4 cyl.engine may run longer better!!

  • Najman100 is partially right regarding voltage drop. In my observation of PV under variable load, DC voltage does indeed change proportionally. This said, I do believe that the HHO generator's electrical characteristics are creating a dynamic load in that it requires a constant amperage to perform. PV inherently is a variable power source subject to many outside conditions. All we were trying to do was to setup a crude experiment to see what would happen.

  • The panels used here, Mitsubishi Electric PV-UD185MF5, retail for approx $1200 USD. All connections were simply wire nutted for test purposes only. Also, rather than infinite ohms as stated in the video, I see that its actually reading "out of limit", which only means resistance outside the range of the instrument used, a Fluke 117 DMM. Thanks for the comments all!

    Looks good what you have there.

    I think that thicker wire might solve your voltage problem. And solder all the wires where you can, it makes a big difference. Keep up the good work and take care.
