This was the greatest fun and truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that I was proud to be a part of. Many thanks to the zillion of in sync fans out there and well wishers who went of their way to come and see us and make themselves known. After a lifetime of searching, I've finally found an insync people who share what I'm trying to do for the world and this expo weekend was truly a life changing experience. Just as people kept telling me the car blew their minds, so did their friendship and creative talents blow mine. I made so many new friends so easily and it was all just one big weekend party and everyone was out for a good time. I had alot of fun doing some local/international media interviews and some local FM news topic on Triple M and podcast, especially my Japanese tv interview where I had to translate in real time what the interviewer was saying and hope my Japanese/Aussie was accurate - let's just say that I think they enjoyed the fact that my time machine is powered by Aussie Vegemite (in a plutonium sandwhich :) I launched quite a few world firsts here at the show that the fans soon picked up on and I had countless fan questions on time travel. I had great fun doing back to back and at times non stop photo posing with the fans and especially enjoyed putting on a show for the handicapped and taking them on a special grand tour of the car and collection. I could only bring a small amount of what I have for the show so I tried to put something up there for everyone to get into. I was glad that there wasn't any carpet under the vehicle as I've had complaints about scorching carpets and starting bush fires on take off, and a big appology to the Manager of the Exhibition building for creating that new sun roof ... :) The crew were especially brilliant and I don't think there was one person in the record 13 000 crowd inside that building who didn't come up for a look or photo with us and the car. I was especially flattered to have a significant number of hard core fans shaking like a leaf when handing me their cameras to have their pictures taken in the car ... that I was not prepared for and was seriously shocked to see, but later I can now well remember how I was when I first sat in one of the movie cars myself. I had never been to a sci-fi convention before let alone put on a display so typically this should have been a completely different experience but it actually fitted me like a glove and I had a ball just being myself and seeing the people enjoying themselves so much. I can't even begin to thank all the in incredible prop makers and engineers who came up to me to shake hands and give me their support, that was just awe inspiring it really was. What especially impressed me was that there was absolutely NO dog-eat-dog mentality anywhere in the complex and effectively we were in another world inside and quite frankly a much better world all being on the same wave length. This expo takes me back to my very first cultural expo in 1988 as it had alot of the international flavour and technology all working hand in hand, colour to colour, brother to brother and everyone really thrived doing it. If there were more expo's like this, the world would be a much better place. Special thanks to the US tourists and their support and encouragement having travelled and seen many a sci-fi convention around the world and for the amazing things they said about my display. It would take me an hour literally to thank you all good friends, take care and watch the skies for more time travel displays in the future! I hope you enjoy my video, Cheers, Doc Braun :)
