A COUPLE OF MONTHS LATER, PONDS HEALTHY,AND WATER IS CRYSTAL CLEAR. THE FISH HAVE GROWN A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT,AS YOU CAN SEE. BECAUSE THIS ONE IS TOO SHALLOW,I AM PUTTING TOGETHER A WINTERING POND IN MY BASEMENT, WICH I WILL FILL WITH MY OUTDOOR POND WATER,AND BRING IN THE FILTRATION SYSTEM WHERE AS I'LL KEEP THE BIO SYSTEM ALIVE AND ACTIVE,THEN BACK OUT TO THE OUTSIDE POND IN SPRING,NO WAITING FOR BACTERIAL BUILDUP IN FILTER.share your pond experiences and knowledge @ gardenpondforum.com..tell 'em KOIGUY sent ya

  • how much did you spend on all of that?

  • @pokemonblaster888 i think i spent about $600.00 complete.

  • its a skippy style filter fed by a tetrapond pf1

  • thanks, they are definately a lively bunch. i bought all these guys at MEIJERS, the one i bought at a pond store croaked a couple days after purchase. meijers even gives a 10 day guarentee.

  • my first try, any comments are welcome, be honest. criticism and ideas can only assist in my redoing the pond over this fall, and spring.

  • So how did you build that filter. What did you use? I think that is half my problem.

  • Nice to watch , very active, plenty of vegitation

  • Oh also, sorry for advertise, but on my profile you can see my pond in the video from my camera phone as I am doing up my backyard its terribly dirty, but I wanted a before and after to show off :), thank you~

  • I have 2 Ponds out my back yard, one has over 1,000gallion water, the other possible about 600, I was thinking of removing the 1,000 and filling it in as the water is green and ugly, however I decided to give it one last try before I remove it, I've read up on bio system's and came across your video, may I know which one you are using? as I know little to nothing in this area, the fish in it, gold fish, Koi about 20 year's old so it is a big shame to have them living in such ugly pond.

  • Man i realy realy like your fish i cant stop watching this they are so active and they look good in this pond gr8 work

  • i think if you had a better camera people would watch your videos more cause very nice fish but not so good camera
