you go to a clip of video import it into adobe after effects
1.) create a text layer by clicking the T icon
2.) create a null object by going to the layer then new the find the null object or its on windows (ctrl-alt-shift-y)
3) make sure you have tracker controls available in the window so you can easily use them. so your going to to in to select the video and go track motion you will see a small box and a slightly larger box what you are going to do is click inside the small box not on the cross cause if you do the kinda messes things up so your going to click just inside the box and move it to a point on the video that will most-likely stay the same through out the film WARNING do not track the eyes cause you will be blinking allot and it will just make things difficult. second thing you will do is well you can shrink down the boxes cause the boxes are what are used to track the pixels.
then you hit edit target and then you select null and then you hit the play arrow as you see i messed up so ill redo it i hit play it moves again i stoped it moved it back. and now when i hit play its tracking my noes when you hit play you can let it go for aslong as you need it to then when you hit stop the trackings done and your text will no longer fallow you. when you deside its done you hit apply. when you are done you will see a bunch of linked squares these are the trackers points of where to fallow so where you moved its basically a map of where your text will move.
5.) you will then go to the text and click the parent that says none and change it to NULL 1 and now your text should fallow you. if not double check the steps
