I have always been intrigued by libertarianism, yet skeptical. I am skeptical towards all things. I have been struggling with figuring out what I actually think on the topic. Here I struggle outloud for a very long time. If you watch the whole thing I should buy you a cheezburger.

  • @MsAaliyahLove Thanks. Although I'm sure you can find some videos of mine that will put you right to sleep :)

  • Great vlog, Phil! You were very apologetic about posting it, and this wasn't necessary--it's great! I know you're not a juke box, but I'd love to see, as a sort of companion piece to this, a "long" vlog from you about the arts--your favorite works of literature, art, theatre, film, music, etc.

  • Somewhere down the road that will be in the works. This subject is nagging at me right now. And I hope to have a long piece about Stonewall soon.

  • In attempt to get others to watch this on Veterans day I am attaching my video for this day of remembering those who died in the name of freedom in their perspective...

  • Verteran's Day Review!

Good piece to watch on this day...

Hope this finds you well, my Friend...

  • That's a good strategy. I wish I could remember some of the stuff I had figured out when I was younger. I notice, at least on youtube, most of the advocates for anarchy/libertarianism are young. I hope you can keep your idealism for a long time. Life can wear you down.

But you and some of the others inspire me to dust off my brain and re-evaluate old intellectual habits.

  • It's so refreshing that you say that with some things it's hard to know what to think. Cuz It's just hard.

All these others are so goddamned certain about everything.

Very cool ideas sir. Thank you. Great video !

  • You're brilliant! You're exactly the kind of person places like this need. You've revived a spirit of philosophy and aristocracy in me I'd long since forgotten.

Thumbs up and many grins, subscribed. ;)

  • The American "Revolution" was not a revolution in the true meaning. It was a war of independence from British rule. It removed a layer of power and replaced it with another. That's not true revolution.

  • Where is capnawesomes freedoms????

  • aloha, phil.

i am a libertarian, and would be happy to answer any and all questions about it.

i have a playlist at that other site that might make a good introduction:

    videosift (D0T) com /playlists /my15minutes /Libertarian

my little blurb at the top there lays out the basic ideas, and the videos display a range of libertarian ideas and issues.

if any of the clips therein spark a question, from you or anyone else, you can reply right here or drop me a line, anytime, no problem at all.
