  • We have a probe on our VF-1 at work.

I don't remember seeing this probe tuch off program.

I have the probe x-web, probe y-web on the 10-18 menu,

Then on the 1-9 menu i have the probe round boss. Which probe menu is this on?

    Or am i missing something?

Awesome video, Keep the chips flying!!!

  • On this machine it is in the spindle probe 1-9 menu; (#8?) "Probe center of part, start at center", there is a (#9) "Probe center of part, start at corner" program as well.

  • We have one of these on our new VF5.

Haven't had the chance to mess with it.

We do a lot of round parts in the 4th axis (A chuck)

which requires indication of x,y and a.

I imagine A axis will still have to be indicated with a dial indicator on a stand and x,y can use the probe.

One of these day when I get a half a second to breath, I'll figure it out.

  • is that the probe on a casting machine

  • nice... just dont crash it... its pretty expensive to replace

  • awesome,

    thanks.
