Just because he touch him doesnt mean he's gay. Maybe you guys are gay. Like mind your own business who cares if he's gay or not acting like he's a criminal. He was just showing you how to squat

I'll make a quick list of things wrong with this video

    1. Feet pointing straight forward. That is wrong. Need to be slightly out to allow for glute activation and for the hips to open up.

    2. Going below parallel takes the pressure off the knees as your hips/glutes take the weight in a deep squat.

    3. Knees past toes is an old rule which has no validation.

    4. Squats are not best used for cardio. They are best for building strength and beginners should use weights dont need to be advanced

Okay, I think I see what I did wrong. I was going to the floor; is that wrong, or does it just make it harder? Also can I get a sufficient workout to tone/loose weight on my butt and thighs by doing squats alone? How many should I do per day, bearing in mind I'm a beginner and don't own any weights?

I agree with everything except 3. It's a rule for a reason; if your knees go past your toes, you won't work your hamstrings and glutes as effectively and will work more on your quads. The above method also reduces stress on your knees so you don't get injured.
