again look at the field at the old Memorial Stadium-you will notice that both the Chiefs and their opponent that week had their helmets painted on the field--this was the innovation of the KC groundskeeper-George Toma ("The God of Sod")-the NFL commissioner at that time (Pete Rosell) said that KC had the best kept field in the NFL--why don't they put both teams helmets on the field anymore???

@indyfan22k ....... now? ....... he has been a color announcer since '85 for the radio broadcast, and was the host of 'Inside the NFL', from 1977-2001 according to answers.com ........ I have witnessed and heard his local broadcasts, but was unaware of some of his total accomplishments
