@wirelessjt I can tell u soo many superstars that did. Eddie Gurrero, Rey Misterio, Chris Benoit, RVD, Dudley Boyz, Rhyno, Chris Jericho, also Dusty Rhodes was in ECW 4 a lil while, I can continue on and on. So idk what ur saying but it's ok if u didn't like ECW. U have ur own opinion ;)

is it me or is this gettin a lil racist? just saying. @ 7:38

@DUBtheTIGER One thing I disagree with you is this... I think the "Attitude Era" was a direct result of what ECW was doing at the time. I compare it a lot to the punk rock fad of the early 80's or the grunge rock thing in the 90's. It was ugly, and yet beautiful at the same time.

@wirelessjt So, no Eddie Guerrero without ECW. No RVD. No Chris Jericho either.
As for the accomplishments...TERRY FUNK held that title! Bam Bam Bigelo, Jimmy Snuka. Those names alone say enough. To say they were 3rd place only behind WWF and WCW is a huge statement. I just think you personally weren't a fan, which is fine, hell, I didn't watch it back then either, but don't sell them short. They shook things up big time. Paul Heyman is one of the greatest minds in the business

@wirelessjt Do you understand the gravity of that? Vince McMahon giving another promotion air-time on Raw during the Monday Night Wars. That's insane. Hell, Lawler wrestled at that PPV. I'm not one of those ECW marks who claims that the Attitude Era was an ECW rip, but I give credit where it's due. Not only did Austin wrestle there, it's where he created the Stone Cold character. Yup. Add Mick Foley, the Radicals, Raven, RVD and many others to the list that earned their stripes in ECW...
-
@wirelessjt ECW was never huge, but it definitely number 3 at the time. The famous Shane Douglas moment (I think '93) was well-documented. I'm assuming you just weren't much of a fan personally. ECW mattered, pal. It mattered enough for Vince to fund Paul Heyman. He even went as far as to have RVD cut a promo on with Jerry Lawler and wrestle Sabu ON RAW, advertising their first PPV...
