Imagine a world where roads don't exist, old-style cars are a distant memory and you can zip over 450 kilometres in one hour. A Russian designer believes aerocars are not far away. Aleksandr Begak has successfully tested a prototype more than 100 times.

  • Does this device really reaches 450kph with parachute wings ? Don't the big amount of air drag decelate them?

  • lol.. It just said the max speed is 160kmph, not 450.

  • they are talking about 450 kph in this video.

But that is not about the earocar you see in the video.

    watch again.

  • notice how the reporter so ignorantly presents the manufacturer's claims as factual. idiot.

  • 450kph parachute?

    That will never happen.

Also, you should not be allowed to call something that is propelled by a spinning propeller a "flying car"

There is no way you will ever be able to license and produce a car that swings a 6 foot diameter sword at several thousand rpm. It would be insanely dangerous to other drivers and pedestrians. Get real

  • I meant "decelerate" :)

  • look up Moulton Taylor folks. real aero-cars have been around for decades, but never caught on for some reason.

  • it's actually a motor on a wheels, with paraglider over it. Nothing so special. I dont understand what did that man invented.. everybody are flying this things in the clubs. even in our!

  • No, no, the car that fly between cities with speeds up to 450 km/h is being developed at the moment. The one shown in the video is just a lightweight version that would mainly be used to flying on low altitudes and for short distances.

  • That's no parachute, that's an aerofoil. There's no way that body can generate enough lift. This is just a snazzy ultralight.

  • these is how our ansestors looked the cars that we use now and thats how we look our future vehicles
