Not the music I'd expect to hear when seeing Shinji Ikari turning into God-with-a-capital-G, but I'm not complaining.

I remember watching this for the first time and thinking oh, here we go again, Shinji's gonna cry and his moms gonna save him and the whole world again. Then he was all like fuck you everyone, like he broke the goddamn 4th wall. He told the fandom to shut up and watch him save the day. Well save Rei.

@Samaia1992 You do know that there is a little piece of paper in the case with the first of the rebuild movies that says it isn't a continuation right? He says that this is a new evangelion with similarities to the original while taking it in a new direction.
