Crestliner Commander 12 Foot Aluminum Runabout

This is a 1956 Crestliner Commander 12 foot aluminum boat. It is powered by a 1955 Johnson 25hp outboard. It started out as a rowboat, with no decking, but was rated for 30hp by the factory, and shares the same hull as the decked models available at the time. It now has twin decks, front and rear bench seats, and a windshield, steering, and dash board - all made by me. On a good day, with glass smooth water, and when trimmed and adjusted just right, she'll do 30. I was hitting about 27 in this vid.

Nice man! I bought a 12' aluminum lowe boat. I'm planning to put my 1996 30hp Johnson on her. Should see 33-35mph I'm hoping!
