Roland Freisler - Hitler's Blood Judge - Part 4

Roland Freisler, president of the Nazi's People Court (Volksgerichtshof), was Hitler's blood judge. Approximately 90% of all proceedings at the Volksgerichtshof ended with sentences of death or life imprisonment, the sentences frequently having been determined before the trial. Between 1942 and 1945 more than 5,000 death sentences were handed out, and of these, 2,600 through the court's First Senate, which Freisler headed. Thus, Freisler alone was responsible, in his three years on the court, for as many death sentences as all other senate sessions of the court together in the entire time the court existed, between 1934 and 1945.

Freisler was particularly known for humiliating defendants and shouting loudly at them. A number of the trials for defendants in the July 20 Plot before the People's Court were filmed and recorded. In the 1944 trial against Ulrich Wilhelm Graf Schwerin von Schwanenfeld, for example, Freisler screamed so loudly, the technicians who were filming the proceeding had major problems making the defendants' words audible. Count Schwerin, like many other defendants in the plot, was sentenced to death by hanging. Among this and other show trials, Freisler headed the 1943 proceedings against the members of the "White Rose" resistance group, and ordered many of its members to be executed by guillotine.

Hooray for these people, the German Resistance I like to think of them. Most Germans in this war knew right from wrong that were not brainwashed. But to oppose meant the death of your family. Hooray for the July Plot men, true Germans!, and not Nazi Slime.

I'm sorry but a lot of this shit is fake. They get and take real actors to "portray" these roles and interviews you see on history chanel ect. Please get the word out. I have spoken with many actualt vets anonymous from the war. They exaggerate shit on these chanels and docuamentaries and give false information as well dictated for one side. none of these mother fuckers being interviewed are the actual people described .

@fuhmeregan Like in every dictatorship...almost every German knows the movie "Die Welle", based on "the third wave", a teachers experiment with US students to show that a dicatorship is impossible "here" in the states (here is everywhere), in fact a dictatorship was installed in the school in a few days/weeks. Same clothes and a special salutation. Physically our body is excellent, defends us daily against millions of viruses, but mental if infected once there is only a small chance to recover.

It is too bad the allies could not have executed every single member of the nazi party. Though of course many people that were members of the nazi party were not involved in the holocaust such as military officers, and businessmen like Oscar Schindler.
