I have a 1991 Ford festiva and it gets 50mpg all gas why can't that happen yall can't get but like 30 mpg without alternative fuel
-
@MrEnergyCzar That would be the only problem I would be scared if it brakes.

zero the first 8yr/100k, beyond that I would estimate a salvaged battery from a 2 year old crashed Volt would run $1,200... the battery is protected and over-engineered so I'd be surprised if people have to swap them.
-
@MrEnergyCzar How much would it be to change the battery if it brakes?
-
They need to sell this car for $20,000 to make it worth while. What's the point of leasing? That's just renting a car. To get your money's worth out of this car, you need to buy it and keep it for 20 years or longer.

How much would it be if I charge the battery from empty to full??

LIKE THE FUEL SAVINGS

Their leasing deal is actually very attractive, if you are OK with leasing.

I've spent $34 total the first 6,400 miles in my Volt. That's almost 200 miles per dollar...
