I think I cried happy tears when I found this. It's probably one of my favourite Tom Waits songs and Patrick Stump is probably my favourite singer and this is just... Jesus Christ.

@YesImACunt Sorry, nobody could hear you over the flawlessness of this cover :)

@herrzyklon I see what ur saying but he's just not a low singer and in reality he has an incredibly overwhelming passion for music. He never put himself in the spotlight and Tom Waits was his biggest influence as a teenager. But I do hear what your hearing in it; it's just not his sound.
If you do look him up, either in an interview or a concert, you'll see he's very humble.

Geeeeeez. His voice is so beautiful. Surely, this is an angel of God.
-
@Undertures He had it up on his site a year or so ago. He recorded it all on his keyboard.

@scuttling just to me it seems like a little bit 'yankee' u no like totally yanked up that is to say that it sounds what I would say "fake as fuck"
he got range like no motherfucker knows =]

ppl don't realize that patrick's most major influences are blues, jazz, showtunes, and r&b ha. i think it's great that he gets thrown into the stereotype of a pop-singer when he's so much more than that.
