Man, bad day today. I totally did not expect to crash so hard during Plyo. Never happened to me before. As I said in the video, my schedule was bass ackwards on Monday so I think that is where I went wrong. I am eating more calories today and going to bed early so hopefully that helps.

  • Ah-haha. Keep going dude. It is hard! Your energy level will pick up in a couple of weeks. The fact that it kicked your ass and your still going shows that you have what it takes inside, and thats all you'll need man. Awesome video. As far as waist size, when you measure your waist for men's slacks, you measure in inches. A 46 inch waist will require a size 46 piar of pants. However, people don't always wear their pants at their literal waist. The waistline area varies in girth. Hence the diff

  • The first week is DEFINITELY the hardest. You should be feeling the pain in your body all week. The second week is much less sore and after that you probably won't feel it much until the first week after your recovery week. I quite often just feel lazy and not up to it but after a good caffeine jolt I usually come around. Just do your best and forget the rest!

  • Oh yes, I definitely felt the pain. Whew! Really tired as well. This week is much better. I'm not as tired and feeling better. I like the part about the caffeine jolt. Hehehe, I tried that.

  • kevinmillman - com <-- my blog that I keep track of my progress. I did start cold into this (no power90 or any other workouts) and I'm a fairly big guy too but it's coming on end of week 3 here and I'm loving it.

  • Oh, I hear you. I was in the medical field most of my life before I switched to computers. I do remember Tony saying we can do CardioX instead. The last thing I want to do is hurt myself. I already modify a couple things. Anyway, I'll see how the rest of the week goes and then decide. Thanks for the comment!

  • Plyo is hard! Still kicks my ass, my HR gets to be about 158. Cardio X my be right for you instead, give it a shot. Don't push it too hard at first or you may get discouraged and give up. If you want to find an excuse not to do it you will. Being in the medical field I can tell you with your weight your just asking for problems.

  • I usually get up at 0510-0515, have a snack (South Beach Protein Bar), wait 20-30 minutes and then work out. Breakfast after workout. I plan my snacks and meals about every 3 hours after that. Usually in bed by 10, at least I try to be, doesn't always happen. Learned my lesson, going to bed early tonight!
