Trailer problems

Trailer on my hallett jet boat takes a dump on the road. One of the axles broke off right behind the hub . This happened right down the street from my house on my way to the river early one morning . I was so pissed the wheel bounced off the curb and hit my (at the time) new truck . So I dragged the POS a mile back home .

What actually happened was that the axle broke right at the drop/goose neck part or whatever you want to call it . It was about 6am on saturday and about a block away from my house so I said fuk this POS and I drove it home .

based on your description of the video you posted , It sounds like you unknowingly pushed this trailer's rear axle hub ( assuming it's dual axle ) 4 - wheel trailer , to its breaking point by doing tight turning (parking -maneuvering out of the garage etc) the rear tires on a dual axle trailer wear 5x faster than the fronts , at my work we lift the front wheels off the ground when parking our boats in a small space to avoid scrubbing the rear's but allowing them to roll smoothly . . think ! lol
